What is .htaccess?

.htaccess (hypertext access) - is a configuration file for use on web servers running the Apache Web Serve. This web-server allowing configure server work in separated derictory(folders), without providing access to the main configuration file. This file usually placed in the default host configuration file. Also, you can create additional .htaccess files for the different derictories of your project. This is a text file that has htaccess extention.
